"Run for a Dream" Marathon and Half Marathon Training Program – organized by Lend-A-Hand India AGREEMENT AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY In connection with participation in "Run for a Dream - Marathon and Half Marathon Trainig Program" (hereinafter referred as "RFD Program"), the undersigned agrees to the following: 1. Voluntary Participation: I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to train under RFD Program.I certify that I am in good health and fully capable of participating in the RFD Program and acknowledge that I have been notified that I should not participate in the RFD Program unless I am medically able to do so. 2. Publicity Waiver: I hereby grant permission to Lend-A-Hand India to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any record of this event for any legitimate purposes and verify this statement. 3. Assumption of Risk: I AM AWARE THAT PARTICIPATING IN THE RFD PROGRAM ENTAILS RISK, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE POSSIBILITY OF SLIPS AND FALLS, SCRAPES, TWISTS AND JOLTS THAT COULD RESULT IN SCRATCHES, BRUISES, CONTACT WITH OTHER PARTICIPANTS, EFFECTS OF WEATHER, TRAFFIC AND COURSE CONDITIONS, SPRAINS, LACERATIONS, FRACTURES, CONCUSSIONS, OR, IN EXTREME CASES, EVEN DEATH. I AM VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THESE ACTIVITIES WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGER INVOLVED, AND AGREE TO ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISKS OF INJURY OR DEATH. 4. Lend-A-Hand India’s Affiliates: Lend-A-Hand India’s Affiliates include Lend-A-Hand India’s officers, directors, administrators, volunteers, contractors, agents, successors, predecessors, subsidiaries and assignees. 5. Health & Nutrition Information: I understand that any health or nutrition related information given by Lend-A-Hand India or its Affiliates should not be construed as medical advice and I will consult with my personal physician before following any such information. 6. Release: I hereby agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of Lend-A-Hand India or any of Lend-A-Hand India's Affiliates for injury or damage resulting from any acts of Lend-A-Hand India or its Affiliates in connection with my training for and participation in the RFD Program, even though the liability may arise from the negligence or carelessness on the part of persons named in this agreement. I hereby release Lend-A-Hand India and the Affiliates from all actions, claims or demands that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians and legal representatives now have or may hereafter have for injury or damage resulting from my training for and participation in the RFD Program. 7. Knowing and Voluntary Execution: I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS DOCUMENT IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT BETWEEN Lend-A-Hand India AND ME; AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
